Seasons of Giving
Why We Need This
The gift cards we sell at the hub are boring; face it some random pattern and a logo is just terrible. That's why I propose we have special designs for the seasons. I've done at least 48 hours of lab time at the hub and I've only seen 1 person buy gift cards. With these designs, the gift cards are more lively making them perfect for gifting. I've seen time and time again students begging friends to buy them stuff at the hub, so giving them a gift card for a special occasion would be perfect. Most teachers at this school also enjoy the coffee made by the hub, so giving them a fun lively gift card would also be perfect for thanking them. Also, one of the points of this class is to teach us how to do business. One part of doing business is gift cards, and I doubt more than 70% of the people that are currently doing classtime at the hub have learned how to use them. This will likely increase sales of gift cards(as proven by a small scale survey conducted by me where people said they would be more likely to but this card) and allow the students to get more experience at the hub with gift cards. This is also the perfect thing to cross-sell as it pairs well when people are buying their friends items from the hub.
